Dear PES Families,

As I sit down to write this final Tiger Tales newsletter, I find it hard to wrap my mind around the fact that I am bidding farewell after thirty-three incredible years in education and administration. This moment is both bitter and sweet, filled with reflections on a journey that has shaped not only my career but my life. I feel immensely grateful for the privilege of spending the last fourteen years in the Pawling School District, where I’ve had the joy of connecting with so many remarkable families, students, and faculty.

Looking back, I cherish the memories and friendships created. From the laughter shared during school events to the heartfelt conversations during parent-teacher meetings. It has truly been a privilege to witness the growth and achievements of our students, who inspire me with their curiosity, creativity, and resilience. I will miss them deeply, as their smiles and enthusiasm have brightened even the toughest days.

In preparation for this transition, I have been dedicated to working closely with Mr. Spedafino, the incoming Principal, and Mrs. Feliciano, our wonderful Assistant Principal. Together, we have been discussing ways to ensure that the school's spirit and community continue to grow. I have full confidence in their leadership and vision for the future of Pawling Elementary.

Thank you for the love, support, and partnership over the years. I will carry these memories with me as I embark on the next chapter of my life.

Warmest wishes,
Michelle Rivas
